Armenia's brandy production rises 1% in Jan-June 2013

PanARMENIAN.Net - 8 129,2 thousand liters of brandy was produced in Armenia in January-June 2013, with production volume increasing by 1% against the same period in 2012 (8 051,3 thousand liters).

According to the National Statistical Service, 2 425,4 thousand liters of wine was produced in January-June 2013 against 2 009,9 thousand liters in 2012 (20,7% increase).

During the reporting period, beer production totaled 6 374,6 thousand liters, dropping by 2,4% against 2012 output (6 533,1 thousand liters). Production of champagne increased 3,1 times totaling 116,9 thousand liters.

In January-June 2013, production of soft drinks in Armenia increased by 30,3% to total 20 889,2 thousand liters.
