ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO PAY TWO-DAY WORKING VISIT TO GERMANY

PanARMENIAN.Net - January 14 Armenian president Robert Kocharian will pay a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. This is the first visit of the Armenian president to Germany within the more than 10-year-long history of Armenian-German interstate relations. Ministers, deputies, chairman of the Central Bank and businessmen serve on the delegation headed by Robert Kocharian. The official meeting of the Armenian president will take place in Bellevue castle, where Robert Kocharian will meet with German president Johannes Rau. Armenian president's meeting with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will also be held. Meetings with Bundestag president Wolfgang Thierse, vice Chancellor and minister of foreign affairs Joschka Fischer are also planned. R.Kocharian will also meet with leader of the Christian Democratic party Angela Merkel. The Armenian president will also be received at the Federal Union of Industrialists of Germany, where prominent German industrialists and representatives of well-known firms will be invited.
