PACE Interested in Karabakh Talks Progress

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Both Azerbaijan and Armenia are members of the Council of Europe and we are interested in progress in the negotiation process between these two states," PACE President Rene van der Linden stated at a news conference dated to the PACE Spring Session. He noted that the "Presidents failed to fix progress during the recent meeting but the parties should arrive at a peaceful settlement of the problem."

At that he remarked that it's incorrect to change the current format of the mediating mission. "We will wait till the end of the talks with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group," the PACE President said adding that the "replacement of the OSCE MG mediation format by the CoE format is inexpedient," reported Trend.
