The term "republic" aroused indignation of the Azeri party, head of the department of press and information policy of the Azerbaijani MFA Tahir Taghizade stated. In his words, the Nagorno Karabakh office in Washington has functioned as a non-governmental organization in Washington since mid 1990-ies. "During the annual registration procedure they try to include the term "republic" but Azerbaijan's timely interference upsets the intention. "If the office were perceived as diplomatic representation it would have been registered not by the Department of Justice but by the State Department," Taghizade assures, reported APA news agency.To remind, the other day the U.S. Department of Justice issued a report on the activities of the lobbying organizations registered in the United States.
