Second A-320 Record Box Withdrawn from Seabed
The second record box of the crashed A-320 jet was withdrawn from the Black Sea bed. According to representative of the Russian Ministry of Transport Svetlana Kryshtanovskaya, the second record box, which was found under a thick layer of silt, was lying at a distance of some 16 meters from the first one and its signal was weaker.

Presently the record box is on the Navigator vessel. The RF Ministry of Transport said its state is very poor, since it was badly damaged by the blow and silt. Later the record box will be conveyed to the International Aviation Committee for decoding.

To remind, on the night of May 3 a Yerevan-Sochi flight of Armavia national carrier crashed into the Black Sea 6 km away from Adler airport killing all of 113 passengers, including 6 children and 8 members of the crew. Among them were 26 Russian citizens, one Ukrainian and one Georgian citizen, while the rest were Armenian citizens.
