Russia-U.S. relations ‘reset’ unlikely as long as sanctions remain: PM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sanctions have seriously damaged Russian-U.S. ties, and the “reset” of bilateral relations is impossible as long as the unilateral restrictions are in place, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Wednesday, Oct 15, according to RIA Novosti.

"It is absolutely impossible. Let's be clear: we did not come up with these sanctions. Our international partners did," Medvedev said.

The Russian Prime Minister said in an interview with CNBC that any suggestion of a "reset" was out of the question.

"We will overcome these sanctions. I have no doubt that they will dissipate in a while. But we can't deny the fact that they have damaged our relations," he went on.
