Iraqi Airways launch Baghdad-Yerevan-Erbil flights

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iraqi Airways will carry out the first Baghdad-Yerevan-Erbil (capital of Iraqi Kurdistan) flight on Thursday, Feb 26, press secretary of Armenia’s chief aviation department Ruben Grdzelyan said, according to ARKA.

The regular flight will be operated twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays) by CRJ900 and Boeing 737, he said.

Members of the Iraqi government and heads of about 50 tour agencies will arrive in Yerevan with this first flight.

Iraqi Airways is the national carrier of Iraq. The company is represented in Armenia by Avia-Service.
