Armenian athlete becomes 2-time world Greco-Roman wrestling champ

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Artur Aleksanyan defeated Iranian Ghasem Rezaei in the last tour of the 2015 World Championships in Las Vegas to become a two-time world champion.

The 2015 UWW World Wrestling Championships are the 12th edition of World Wrestling Championships of combined events, held from September 7 to 12 in Las Vegas, United States.

Besides Alexanyan, other Armenian Greco-Roman athletes, including super heavyweight Edgar Khachatryan, Roman Amoyan (59 kg), Mihran Harutyunyan (66kg), Varsham Boranyan (71 kg), Arsen Julfalakyan (75kg), Eduard Sargsyan (80 kg), Maksim Manukyan (85 kg) participate in the championship.
