President visits Armenia’s northeastern defense positions

PanARMENIAN.Net - President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid a visit to the country’s northeastern defense positions Thursday, November 19.

Accompanied by the Defense Minister and the highest command of Armenian Armed Forces, the President toured military units, visited the defense positions to make a firsthand observation of combat readiness of troops and the ongoing army building process.

Sargsyan attended demo exercises involving the second army unit’s subdivisions, where he was briefed on the situation in the units and other current issues.

In one of the military units, the President also attended the opening of a newly-built canteen for the servicemen.

On the same day, the Armenian President paid a working visit to Nagorno Karabakh.
