CONSTRUCTION OF "NORTH-SOUTH" HIGHWAY, STRATEGIC FOR NAGORNO-KARABAKH, TO BE COMPLETED BY 2005

PanARMENIAN.Net - In Nagorno-Karabakh, the construction of "North-South" highway, that has a strategic importance for the state, will have been completed by 2005. "Hayastan" Armenian fund representative to Nagorno-Karabakh Boris Alaverdian has stated that. The $25-million highway is 160 km. Yesterday the next 10-kilometer part of the highway passing through the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh was put into operation. It should be noted that the highway construction cost is covered with the funds of "Hayastan" Armenian fund.
