"The company should follow certain rules preventing dangerous habits and minimizing corruption risks.” According to Yirikian, it’s much more effective to have a timely prevention of corruption rather than start handling it when it emerges. The institutional structure of the anticorruption projects and the current problems in the sector were presented at the meeting, followed by an active discussion between the speakers and the employees of the company. Theoretical ways and practical examples of the strategic role of private sector’s participation in the fight against corruption were also addressed.
