South Ossetia may recognize Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - South Ossetia’s lawmakers will discuss the issue of the Armenian Genocide recognition at a coming session, Interfax reports citing the parliament’s website.

“Some of the MPs insisted that Armenia, in turn, recognize the genocide of Ossetians but it’s not about principles,” the statement said.

“It is fundamental that representatives of the Armenian community are full members of our society, many of whom have fought for our independence, endured hardships with us, while some of them are even descendants of Genocide survivors.”
