Situation along Karabakh contact line calms down again

PanARMENIAN.Net - The relative calm along the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan was mainly preserved on the night of July 8-9.

The Azerbaijani side used various caliber firearms to open random busrts of fire towards the Armenian positions.

Karabakh Defense Army troops refrained from retaliating to continue controlling the situation along the line of contact.

On the night of July 7-8, at around 3:20 am, Azerbaijani troops initiated a subversive attack on the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh.

Having timely identified the rival, Karabakh troops took preventive measures to thwart the sabotage.

Besides the attempted subversion, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire in some directions of the contact line using various caliber firearms.
