  Metallica announce "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct" - first album in 8 years August 19, 2016 - 10:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Heavy metal band Metallica is coming out with its first album in eight years, the group announced Thursday, August 18, according to AFP. The rockers' 11th studio album will be called "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct" and go on sale in November, the band said. It follows "Death Magnetic," which came out in 2008. "It really does exist! We know it's been a long time coming, but today we proudly introduce you to “Hardwired... To Self-Destruct,” the long awaited next Metallica studio album," the band said on its Facebook page.
