Armenia to export optical equipment, construction materials to Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - A number of business agreements have been reached during the Armenia Expo 2016 trade fair, which took place on October 5-8 in Tehran, Iran.

According to the Armenian Development Foundation, 103 Armenian companies instead of the previously announced 80 participated in the expo. At least half of them reached business agreements with Iranian firms.

“Organizations of both states are now negotiating the export of optical equipment, shoes, soft drinks and construction materials,” exports chief at the Armenian Development Foundation Hayk Mirzoyan said.

The fair sought to promote the development of trade and economic relations between Armenia and Iran, encourage investments, the development of tourism, and the facilitation of business agreements.
