ARMENIA AND IRAN SIGNED AGREEMENT ON CONTINUATION OF HIGH-VOLTAGE LINE CONSTRUCTION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian and Irani energy ministries have signed an agreement on construction of the Agarak-Shinuayr part of the "Syunik-Center" high-voltage line. As "Arka" agency reports, according to the RA energy minister Armen Movsisian, the agreement will let not only increase the volume of supplies of the energy but also cooperate with European and Russian station in future. According to him, the Agarak-Shinuayr part will increase the generating capacity by 250 MWt that is $150 million. $20-million financing of Armenian-Irani joint projects in the energy sphere will be through credit means of the Irani bank of export and development.
