Cbonds: Ameriabank leads Armenian market in terms of bond issues

PanARMENIAN.Net - Financial news agency Cbonds has published the list of issues and public placements conducted in local bond markets of South Caucasus countries in 2016.

Ameriabank is thus leading the Armenian banks, having placed three issues of bonds with a total sum of $22 million (7.12% market share in the South Caucasus).

Moreover, not the dimensional, but the quantitative component of the ranking is the most important aspect, according to which the number of bond issues and public placements outperformed the corresponding indicators registered by the neighboring countries in 2016. The latter, in turn, reflects the healthy competitiveness, development and non-polarized nature of Armenia’s bond market.
