Aliyev clan rapidly involves Azeri public into information war against Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Aliyev clam rapidly involves the Azeri public into information war against Armenia, director of the institute of national and strategic studies at the RA defense ministry, adviser to the defense minister, political scientist, senior expert of ethnic and national security political sciences, major general Hayk Kotanjian said in an interview posted at the defense ministry's web site.

"Aliyev's propagandists under the pretence of human rights protection tell about outrage upon those killed in the Khojalu mess. However, they fail to mention who committed this outrage. Details of this provocation as a dirty tool of political combat are found in an exclusive interview former Azeri president Ayaz Mutalibov gave to Czech reporter Dana Mazalova in April 1992. The Armenian side possesses all necessary proofs that the bodies of the killed were on the territories controlled by the Azeri authorities and Armenians could not do violence to them," he noted.

"Another example of inferior falsification is the recent denunciation of director of the Baku center of struggle against corruption and international terrorism Rovshan Novruzoglu, who is known as one of the famous authors of vulgar anti-Armenian insinuations. His discovery of "cats drilled by the Armenian special services to convey drugs to Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia" will remain unsurpassed masterpiece.

Instigators speak of such "discoveries" at international forums to ground the necessity of counter-terrorist operations against democratically developing Karabakh. Meanwhile, the NKR defense army properly supports security and stability in the region," Hayk Kotanjian said.
