European Parliament preparing new report on South Caucasus conflicts

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Parliament is preparing a new report on the South Caucasus conflicts, said EP delegation head Marie Anne Isler Beguin who is currently in Azerbaijan. She said the report will be put on discussion in the near future.



"We discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in Baku. The EU thinks that the frozen conflicts in the South Caucasus hamper European integration and implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy," she said.



"Frozen conflicts impede the development of the region and represent a menace," she added, Novosti Azerbaijan reports.
