Government planning to issue fresh bonds worth more than $1.2 billionApril 22, 2017 - 14:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian finance ministry is going to issue bonds worth AMD 600 billion ($1.23 billion) on April 29, according to information published on the official website of the Central Bank. The government envisages to take the debt in three tranches, each in the form of bonds worth AMD 200 billion. Armenia will have the first batch of the bonds repaid in 2020 with an 8% interest rate. The second and third parts will be repaid in 2022 and 2037, with additional payments of 9% and 12.5%, respectively.
