Armenian GM Gabriel Sargissian wins Chess Classic FIDE Open

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Gabriel Sargissian won the Chess Classic FIDE Open tournament which is held on the sidelines of London Chess Classic.

Securing a total of 7.5 points, Sargissian left behind more than 280 participants to take the winner's title.

Hrant Melkumyan, also from Armenia, took the second spot after leading the event throughout the whole tournament.

Sébastien Mazé of France took the third spot.
