ARMENIA 15-TH IN UN RATING ON DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENT ATTRACTION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia became the 15-th in the rating on direct foreign investment attraction recently made public by the UN Conference on Trade and Development. As reported by "Mediamax" agency, the rating including 140 UN member states took into consideration the relation between the volume of direct foreign investments and the volume of economy of the given country within 1998-2000. Out of the CIS member states only Azerbaijan, which occupies the 8-th place, has outstripped Armenia. Georgia is the 36-th.
