Putin receives military pension, his spokesman says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin receives a salary and military pension on a Rossiya Bank card, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with AIF.

He recalled that when the first sanctions were imposed, “for some reason, the Americans thought that the main perpetrators of Crimea’s accession to Russia were a number of our companies, including the Rossiya Bank."

“And then the President decided to transfer his salary and military pension to the card of the bank. I can't reveal the exact amount of his pension, I don’t know,” Peskov said.

He also added that both the President's and Prime Minister's salaries are established by presidential decrees.
