UN headquarters host conference on genocide prevention

PanARMENIAN.Net - The UN headquarters in Geneva hosted Wednesday a scientific conference on prevention of genocides, the RA MFA press office told PanARMENIAN.Net



Armenia was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian, who stated that genocide is a deliberate crime against humanity.



"Genocide incites hatred and gives birth to impunity. The UN should help work out mechanisms of genocide prevention," he said.
