Armenia to partake in Caucasus Platform conference

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mr. Shahen Avakian, Secretary General of the staff of the office of the Foreign Minister of Armenia and Mr. Armen Yedigarian, head of arms control and international security department at the RA MFA, will represent Armenia at the international conference on Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform due in Istanbul on January 26 and 27, Mr. Tigran Balayan, RA MFA acting head of the media relations division told PanARMENIAN.Net



Azerbaijan will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov.



Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform supposed to unite Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia was offered by Ankara following the August 2008 hostilities in South Ossetia.
