Azerbaijani combat drone downed over Stepanakert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Combat drones have been spotted over Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported from the scene on Wednesday, October 7. According to the source, while one of the UAVs was downed, the rest managed to drop bombs on the city.

Artsakh (Karabakh) Human Rights Defendere Artak Beglaryan said earlier that the Azerbaijani armed forces were targeting the city with kamikaze drones and rockets, hitting civilian objects in Stepanakert.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey, launched a large-scale offensive against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27, shelling Armenian positions and civilian settlements with large caliber weapons and rocket systems. Armenia and Karabakh have introduced martial law and total mobilization. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. International and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
