Dutch Parliament adopts motions on sanctions against Azeri President

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Dutch Parliament has adopted motions on individual sanctions against Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for war crimes and atrocities they committed against the people of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Armenia's ambassador to the Netherlands Tigran Balayan said on Tuesday, November 17.

According to the envoy, the parliament of the Netherlands has also approved another motion on EU-wide arms embargo against Turkey for its complicity in aggression.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan has said he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
