The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 586 to reach 157,349 on Saturday, December 26 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 854 more people have recovered, while 19 patients have died from Covid-19.

A total of 2610 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 138,669 people have recovered, 2752 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 671 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
