Karabakh: No search for bodies on Feb. 9 due to Azeri army shift change

PanARMENIAN.Net - The search mission for the recovery of remains of Nagorno-Karabakh servicemen killed in the recent war was suspended in territories under Azerbaijan's control on Tuesday, February 9, Karabakh authorities report.

According to the State Emergency Service, the reason behind the suspension is the shift change in the Azerbaijani army. The search will resume on February 10.

Since November 13, the Nagorno-Karabakh rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1367 people, including dozens of civilians, who have failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.

Family members and parents of missing soldiers are usually participating in the process too.
