Karabakh resumes search for bodies of war victims

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno-Karabakh rescue teams on Tuesday, March 23 resumed the search for the bodies and remains of the victims of the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The State Emergency Service of Karabakh is searching for the remains of the servicemen in the province of Hadrut, in areas occupied by Azerbaijan.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1518 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.

The mission is being suspended sometimes due to bad weather and poor visibility.
