Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to issue discounted tourist visas for Armenians

PanARMENIAN.Net - Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has unveiled its latest initiative to ease the tourist visa application process for passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi from Egypt, Georgia, Armenia, and Israel for whom visa on arrival is not available, Gulf Business reports.

Wizz Air has collaborated with Airline Web Services, so that customers from said countries can easily apply for a 30-day or 90-day visit visa at a discounted price.

Passengers will be able to apply and pay for the visa on the carrier’s website. A 30-day UAE single-entry tourist visa for Israelis costs Dhs372 ($101), while for Egyptians, Armenians and Georgians it is priced at Dhs354 ($96).

Meanwhile a 90-day UAE single-entry tourist visa for Israelis costs Dhs892 ($242), while for Egyptians, Armenians and Georgians it is priced at Dhs874 ($238).

While Israel is on Abu Dhabi’s ‘green list’, Egypt, Armenia and Georgia are not on that list.

Passengers arriving from the ‘green list’ destinations are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi. Vaccinated travellers arriving from ‘green list’ countries must take a PCR test on arrival and on day six, without the need to quarantine.

Vaccinated residents and citizens arriving from countries which are not on the green list must take a PCR test on arrival and quarantine for five days. They must take another PCR test on day four of their arrival to the UAE.
