Official: Georgia will receive Novavax, Johnson & Johnson vaccines

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of Georgia’s National Centre for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze has said Georgia will receive 700,000 doses of Novavax and up to 130 thousand doses of Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines in the third quarter of 2021 via the Covax platform, Agenda.ge reports.

Gamkrelidze also said that Georgia will receive additional one million doses of Pfizer and half a million doses of Sinopharm vaccines in June or July.

Covid-19 vaccination process started on March 15 in Georgia when the country received 43,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine.
