Karabakh man taken captive by Azeris returned to Armenian side

PanARMENIAN.Net - A resident of the village of Machkalashen in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), who was taken captive by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, has been returned to the Armenian side, Karabakh presidential spokesperson Lusine Avanesyan said on Monday, July 26, Artsakhpress reports.

Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan was the first to report on the Karabakh resident's disappearance earlier on Monday.

He said Russian peacekeepers had been informed, and negotiations over returning the person were underway.
