Azerbaijani army resumes shelling of Armenian posts

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military has resumed its shelling of Armenian positions in Yeraskh, Ararat province, as of Monday, July 26 afternoon, the Defense Ministry reports, according to Aysor.am.

In particular, the Azeri troops used various caliber weapons to fire on Armenian positions beginning from 3:30 pm local time.

The Azerbaijani forces opened fire on the Armenian positions stationed in border areas of Gegharkunik province in the wee hours of Monday, July 26. No casualties were registered, the Defense Ministry reported.

Later in the day, the Azeris violated the ceasefire from Nakhijevan too, using various caliber weapons to shell the Armenian positions in Yeraskh, Ararat province. The Armenian side took suppressive measures, the Defense Ministry said.
