The NSS was reported on the disappearance of Armen Verdyan (b. 1971), a resident of Aygestan community of Askeran region, on Wednesday, December 29 morning. After discovering that Verdyan had been detained by the Azerbaijani military, the Artsakh law enforcers informed the Russian peacekeeping contingent deployed in the region about the incident.
