PanARMENIAN.Net - The Investigative Committee has concluded a preliminary investigation into Azerbaijan's offensive against an Armenian military post on November 16, 2021, unveiling details from the criminal case.

According to the investigation, 21 Armenian servicemen were guarding a military post when the Azerbaijan soldiers entered the sovereign territory of Armenia, taking control of the position.

As a result, 13 Armenian troops were taken captive, but two of them were murdered before being returned to the Armenian side. The Investigative Committee said 8 of the prisoners of war have been repatriated, while 3 others are still being held in Azerbaijan.

Charges have been brought against three soldiers – 2 Majors and 1 Private – all of them are under arrest.
