Yerevan joining Earth Hour global movement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan will be joining the Earth Hour worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

According to a statement from the City Hall, the external lighting of the main streets and buildings of Yerevan will be turned off on March 26, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The event is held annually, encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on a specific day in March.
