Corporación América Airports mulls new projects in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday, April 12 hosted Martin Eurnekian, Executive Director of Corporación América Airports, to discuss new investment projects.

Marcelo Wende, CEO of Armenia International Airports, and Sergey Avetisyan, General Manager at Armenia International Airports, participated in the meeting as well.

The Prime Minister stressed the company's activities in Armenia, noting that the government is interested in deepening mutually beneficial partnership.

Eurnekian expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the Armenian Government and conveyed to the Prime Minister the warm greetings of Argentine-Armenian businessman, philanthropist Eduardo Eurnekian.

The sides discussed the process of the programs implemented by “Corporación América” in Armenia and the prospects for their expansion. In particular, the sides touched upon issues related to the development of Yerevan's Zvartnots and Gyumri’s Shirak airports and the improvement of infrastructure, which have been granted to the company for concession management. In this context, the opportunities of implementing new investment projects were discussed, which will contribute to the development of the aviation market, increase the passenger flow, and provide quality services. The sides exchanged views on possible new programs in other directions as well.
