Chiefs of CSTO General Staffs to discuss security, cooperationApril 13, 2022 - 12:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A meeting of the Military Committee on the development of military cooperation between the CSTO member states will be held via videoconference on Thursday, April 14, the CSTO press service reports. “The meeting will address challenges and threats to military security in the CSTO collective security regions, issues related to improving crisis response and organizing international aviation flights of the armed forces of the CSTO member states, as well as joint training of command and control bodies and formations of forces and means of the collective security of the CSTO in 2022,” the press service noted. In addition, members of the Military Committee will be informed about the work of the St. Petersburg Military Academy of Logistics, which is the basic educational, methodological and research organization of the CSTO. The meeting will be presided over by the Chairman of the Military Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Army General Valery Gerasimov.
