Magnitude 3.2 quake hits Armenia-Georgia border area

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck the border area between Armenia and Georgia on Wednesday, May 4 morning, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

The tremor happened at a depth of 10 km below the surface. It has not caused any damage, but was felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.

Weak shaking was felt in some communities of Shirak and Lori provinces.

Several earthquakes have been shaking the area in the past couple of days now.
