Obama, Nalbandian, Babacan discuss Armenian-Turkish reconciliation

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. President Barack Obama had a meeting with foreign ministers of Turkey, Armenia and Switzerland in Istanbul on Monday.



Obama met Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey in Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul.



An official from the White House said that U.S. President Obama discussed normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations with ministers and called on the parties to reach an agreement in the meeting.

Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
