ARMENIA PRESENTED AT SMITHSONIAN FESTIVAL

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is presented at the «Silk Road: Connecting Cultures, Creating Trust» festival taking place in front of the US Congress building these days. 370 musicians, artisans, cooks from the US and over 20 countries of the world are participating in the festival taking place on the initiative of the well-known Smithsonian Institution. Armenia is represented with «Shoghakn» national company. The US Congress Armenian group organized a reception in honor of the guests from Yerevan on the threshold of the festival. Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the USA Arman Kirakosian and of Congress Armenian group co-chair Frank Pallone spoke at the reception. The festival will last until July 7.
