MEETING OF CIS COUNCIL ON COOPERATION IN HEALTH SPHERE OPENED IN YEREVAN TODAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the 14-th meeting of the CIS Council on cooperation in the sphere of health opened in Yerevan. The participants of the meeting in particular discuss questions of struggle against AIDS, preventing malaria, medical assessment of potentially dangerous commodities, relationships of the CIS Council with the European bureau of the World Health Organization. Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian noted in his speech addressed to the conference participants that it would let further strengthen the cooperation between the health protection bodies of the Commonwealth countries. In his words, the most important point is that exchange of experience gives an opportunity to correctly determine the priorities of developing the health protection system at the transition period.
