Parliament President: France will be the voice of Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - France will be the voice of Armenia to alert the international community to find a solution to Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor in Nagorno Karabakh, President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet said on Twitter on Friday, January 13

Braun-Pivet said she discussed Respect for the sovereignty of Armenia , lifting of the blockade of Lachin, and the dialogue for peace at a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

According to her, she reiterated France’s support for Armenia.

Since December 12, the sole road connecting Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia - the Lachin Corridor - has been blocked by self-described Azerbaijani environmentalists. Karabakh residents have reported food and fuel shortages, while hospital patients don't have access to essential medicines, with only a handful allowed transfer to facilities in Armenia proper.
