1294 checking machine lottery ticket owners got awards and bonuses in AprilApril 20, 2009 - 15:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the results of 3rd Winning Ticket checking machine lottery, 1294 ticket owners got AMD 10,6 million worth awards and bonuses in April, RA Public Revenue Committee Press Service reported. Over 18 banks were addressed for prizes. As of Apr. 18, 1085 citizens won AMD 5000 each, 181 citizens - AMD 20 000 each, and 28 citizens AMD 50 000 each. From Apr. 1 , 2009 RA Government introduced a new bonus mechanism to provide additional funds for checking machine lottery tickets. Those presenting 50 tickets worth over AMD 100 000, collected within 3 months, will receive a bonus of AMD 2500. Upon presenting 1000 tickets worth AMD 6 million, a bonus of 200 000 will be provided. The state lottery aims at reduction of shady turnover and rising of consumer rights awareness among Armenian population. CMT lottery fund totaled AMD 15 million ($ 376 700) to be distributed among 10 000 winners. At present 45 000 checking machines are installed at sale points in Armenia.
