Armenian citizens will be able to travel to UAE visa-free

PanARMENIAN.Net - Citizens of Armenia will be able to travel to the United Arab Emirates visa-free, according to a draft proposal approved by the government on Thursday, January 26.

The proposal says that the UAE is the first trade partner of Armenia in the region, with increasing volumes of bilateral trade and Emirati investments in the country. Tourism too is developing significantly, as does the number of direct flights between Armenia and the UAE.

The visa exemption will not only promote the increase of tourist flows, but will also create a solid basis for the revitalization of business and economic ties, which will contribute to the expansion of investment and economic cooperation.

A 30-day visa to the Emirates used to cost $120, the 60-day one was $280, the multi-entry visa for 30 days cost $320, while the multi-entry visa for 60 days cost $360.
