ARMENIAN PRESIDENT ARRIVED IN LATVIA ON OFFICIAL VISITJune 26, 2002 - 22:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian arrived in Latvia on official visit. Robert Kocharian's separate meeting with Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga took place. Then Armenian-Latvian wide membership negotiations were also held. Agreements on mutual trips of the citizens of the two countries and passing and accepting persons were signed. The Latvian President considered the signed accords as the first step towards developing cooperation between the two countries. Robert Kocharian's meeting with Latvian parliament speaker Janis Staume was also held. June 27 Robert Kocharian will leave Riga for the Estonian capital of Tallinn.
