  NASA astronaut refuses to travel to Azerbaijan for IAF congress February 17, 2023 - 13:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - NASA astronaut Garrett Reisman has refused to travel to Azerbaijan for the IAF's International Astronautical Congress because of the country's military aggression against Armenia. "Why is IAC in Azerbaijan - a country guilty of recent military aggression against its neighbor Armenia?" Reisman tweeted. "Azerbaijan is one of the most corrupt nations with one of the worst human rights records in Europe. I'm not going, & if you are, please reconsider." The astronaut then shared information about Azerbaijan's standing in a number of reports on corruption, as well as the country's aggression against Armenia.
