Baku avoids commenting on Armenian-Turkish agreement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan has commented on framework agreement on normalizing of Armenian-Turkish ties.

The normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkish must proceed on par with the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the "occupied lands" of Azerbaijan, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Elkhan Polukhov said.

"Our position on this issue has not changed. This is a sovereign right of every country to define its relations with other countries. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan insists on simultaneous withdrawal of Armenian troops," he said, Day.az repots.
