Organizers planning to invite 500 businesses to DigiTec 2023

PanARMENIAN.Net - People behind DigiTec – one of the region's largest technological exhibitions – are planning to 500 foreign business visitors to the upcoming edition of the high-tech event in Armenia from October 13 to 15.

Executive Director of the Union of Advanced Enterprises of Armenia (UATE) Sarkis Karapetyan has said they are working with potential investors in a number of projects, as well as with potential buyers of their developments, Sputnik Armenia reports.

In order to attract business guests, the union has involved what they call “DigiTec ambassadors”. These are well-known figures (mainly of Armenian origin) in France, the United States, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. Their names will be announced soon, he added.

"We are looking for and inviting business guests, including taking into account the needs of our companies. For those who want to take part in the exhibition, we recommend that the contact us, tell us what industry they work in and what partners they are looking for, and we will try to invite them," added the executive director of UATE.

"The government is encouraging the digitization of business processes, and companies are actively using such solutions. We want to show that there are both international and local providers of such solutions in the Armenian market."

In addition, organizers also want to invite influential publications, such as Forbes, TechCrunch, The Verge and others to the exhibition.

This year the event will be held at the Meridian Expo Center (not far from the city center in Yerevan).
